I have a 2 cylinder system. One trim, and one tilt. Does anyone know how the transfer of power is made from the trim to the tilt cylinder? My trim works but the tilt doesn't (brand new valve body). One switch (up/down), and one pump, controls both cylinders..somehow. The pump keeps running the trim cyl. until it bogs down and pops a bolt, or just stops.

thanks

There is no transfer. It is all the same. When trim cylinder can't go anyfurther then tilt takes over. Try lifting engine all the way by pulling up while also running switch. Block it into place when fully lifted. Disconnect tilt-up tube from pump and and cap it off. remove engine blocks. if engine falls the tilt ram is bad.
