I've got my 9.9 and a dead 9.9 with electrics.

Going from memory here, but you need.

Flwheel
Starter
new piece on the port side of the block to support the starter.
neutral saftey switch
starter switch.

Now I'm not sure if that is all you need or if you have to replace the magneto etc. to work with the new flywheel. I'm thinking you do in which case you need the new magneto plate under the flywheel, the rectifier and maybe some more stuff.

I looked at mine and pulled everything apart. It may be that my two motors are not the same years, but none of the connectors were the same and I needed to replace pretty mush everything from the magneto on. The first piece that could stay was the coils. I'd have to cut my stop switch wires as the connector to them was different.

I'm going to do this but have put mine back together as it was as I need it for a kicker to test my big boat.
