Well, I thought I understood 2 stroke outboard a little bit, but I don’t! First thing I noticed when I opened the cowl of this beast was where something had been remove, 3 small screws replaced where something about the size of a deck of cards once sat. After reading up, I noticed this XR2 doesn’t have the “advance spark module” on it. From what I read Mercury maybe suggestEd removing the module??
