86 johnson need help

I have an 86 johnson 6hp. It is leaking from the carb bowl. I have replaced the gasget, but it still leaks. Also when i throttle up it seems to miss or it will just die. If can can help plz do.

The float is probably set too low or the inlet needle is leaking, oww2.<br /><br />Get a Service Manual and overhaul your carb.<br /><br />Good luck.
