I have a 1986 25hp evinrude and i had controls from my 87 30hp evinrude i was going to use. well i realize when i take the hood off there is no Red connector for the harness on the motor. It has electric start by key that someone wired and on the front of the o/b. I looked in the manual but don't know if i can use my controls. Any ideas why i don't have a red hookup?
