I was wondering how hard it is too remove all gears and components from a force 85hp lower unit housing and reassembling them into a new lower unit housing thats the same has original housing.
Force 85 has a 1 piece gear housing.All 85/125 90/120 150 have a 1 piece.
You will need shim tools to install the old gears into a new housing.
You might get it to last a while but the fit will be wrong and eventually go bad.
What's wrong with it??? J
