Anchorr-Not trying to be a hard ***** but if I had the $ to just go and re-up this motor I would. Compression its essential like I said...but 122-132 isn't bad on a motor that old.

Pwnboat-It's not the best boat in the world but she has be re designed to fish....from bow to stern. Redfish and Trout are the main goals...well see next weekend. I hope to land something nice to share!

I hear you krobertson. My 1988 Bayliner certainly is not a looker, and my 1988 125HP motor is not the most powerful, but it has never let me down and my family, friends and I have a blast with it. Maybe someday I'll move on to something else, but for the time being... it is what it is. :joyous: LOL!
