85 force 50 with 87 powerhead

Fried my 1985 force 50. compression is 90 on top and 50 on the bottom. So instead of rebuild I found an 87 powerhead with CDI. Do any of you see a problem with this swap?

Not a bit.Just make sure that it's comp is good.
I'd pull the head and check before I did all that work.J

new powerhead has 135 on both cylinders. Another ? my old powerhead has a tube from the thermostat to the exhaust cover and the new one doesn't. Why?
