i just bought a force 15hp motor and the guy told me it was a 1991. i took it to a mech. he told me it was an 1984.model...152f6a ....serial...1313... iwas wondering the true year of this motor...i also took it out in northern canada on some back lakes and the first day ran mint,second day ran 50%.. although i did change the gas will this motor run like crap if the oil/gas mix is a lilttle light round 40:1 instead of 50:1.i know if you put too much oil most outboards ran poorly.i pulled the sparkplugs out (2) and they were black and greasy is this right for the plugs to look like this?
