Model #J0406278<br /><br />Can anyone tell me where the check valve is to release the rams...they are in the up position and i need to get them down in order to install the tilt/trim bar.

coco,<br /><br />Standing behind the engine.<br /><br />Look on the clamp (mounting) bracket about 3/4 way down. You will see an access hole.<br /><br />You will need a fairly long flat blade screwdrivr to stick into that hole to gain access to the release screw.

Hmmmm. It could be correded. You may want to spray some penetrating oil in there and keep trying.
