I am having trouble replacing the starter in my I/O Mercruiser 120. I am able to find two bolts, but not the third. Even with two of the bolts out, the starter will not budge. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
i am attempting to replace my starter as well. I loosened the two long bolts (top one just the nut, bottom one the entire bolt loosens and pulls out) then there is a large bolt on the side of the engine block that is holding a brace to the starter. After removing those the front half of the starter pulled out.
