83 evinrude 70hp how good are thay

thinking of getting 83 evinrude 70hp with a pump 135psi in all 3
are these good motors thanks

The JohnnyRude twin and triple loopers were the industry leaders and standard for years, Coasty.

That was a great engine 26 years ago. How good it is now depends on how it has been treated.

my '79 runs as good now as when it left the factory, maybe better. parts are easy to find. It's never broke down but that I couldn't fix it myself, and I have no formal training in any kind of mechanical repair.
