In this forum, I noted that you should not turn over the engine without the spark plugs in the wire, and also grounded to the block as engines with type III ignitions can be damaged. I am not sure what happens as to exactly what might cause the damage, but I made a sheet metal holder for the plugs, and grounded that to the block with a ground wire.
the sheet metal holder seems to work, and all six are sparking nicely. here is a movie clip.

if they look good are they good, or do i need to measure or test something?
