Can someone tell me what the max rpm range for an 82 Evinrude 115. I just had this motor rebuilt and the max RPM listed by my mechanic(4800 RPMs)doesn't match my Seloc manual(5500 RPMs).
5500 would be your minimum target. The motors live longer if you set them up around 5800 with your average load.<br /><br />At 4800 its lugging and wont last near as long as it should.
