I am trying to replace the impeller on my 82 7.5 hp Evinrude. From reading the forum I have come to the realization that I need to remove the power head to get at the "shifter linkage". My problem is that after removing the six bolts that hold it on and disconecting the choke, mix knobs, and banging on it gently, I still can't get it to seperate. Any suggestions on how to get it off. Also, after I get the PH off, exacatly how do you disconnect the shifter?<br /><br />Macspazz
