80hp mercury throtle plates at WOT

the throtle plate on the bottom carb is not at vertical when control is at WOT the top carb is....bottom carb is at about 1 o clock or so .....is this normal? doesn't seem so unless it is to help midrange?......idle quality......<br /><br />go fast as you dare....speed= horsepower= cubic dollars...

Run it for a spell, and pull the plugs.Look at the spark plug chart and make sure one carb is not too lean. It may have been adjusted that way too correct a lean burning condition. If both plugs look ok,and it runs ok, it should be fine. But check the plugs preiodicly for too dry plugs.

wouldn't it be better to rejet and adjust carb to open all the way?
