I've got a Karavan trailer for my 2008 Alumacraft. It does not have surge brakes, just lights. However, straight from the factory this came with a Wesbar 4-pin trailer plug that has 8 wires coming out of it. I took pictures below so that you can see each side of the plug (wire descriptions below). My trailer has two tail lights, two side markers, and the three light bar on the axle. I have a short somewhere down the wishbone so am going to replace due to everything being at least 16yrs old. I can't find an 8-wire / 4-pin plug anywhere and also have not found any good descriptions of what all of the wires are doing. I'm away from home right now but will probably start pulling lights to see which wires go to which fixtures.

Any clue where to find a replacement plug and set of wires?

Wire Descriptions:
1. Green
2. Yellow
3. Brown
4. Brown/Yellow
5. Brown/Green
6. White
7. White/Yellow
8. White/Green

You simply have wires branching from the plug to go to the marker lights and the 3 brake lights. You could go to Walmart and buy a 4 pin flat harness and splice the wires ( solder/shrink ) for the extra lights
