8 HP Nissan spark issue

I have a NS8 B 1990 with no spark one side. If one side has spark and the other dosn, t what should I replace. I moved the spark plugs from the bad side to the good and know its not the plug. Would you replace the plug wire on the bad side next?

You would use the factory service manual to get the values and test procedures so that you do not spend money replacing good parts. Otherwise, is's just a guess as to what is wrong.

That motor has a siamese coil, so if 1 fires, they both should. You can test the coil and wiring using the Factory service manual as a guide.

Thanks for the great advice. After pricing electronics replace ment decided to part out motor

If engine is in good running cond why part it prematurely. Probably is just a faulty spark plug cap or worst scenario a bad ignition coil ?
