Hello Everyone! I recently was given a 76 wellcraft v20 with a 79 merc 150. I just finished a complete overhaul on this thing but noticed my voltage was low while engine was running and tach doesn't move. It has brand new gauges and i am getting low voltage at the tach so it's not the gauges.. i am thinking rectifier??? It does look like some corrosion in the wires at the base of the rect. If it is the rect, will a rect off of a 175 of the same year work on the 150? I have a spare 175 for parts. I've been told they are pretty much the same motor. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance

If the rectifier is the plastic cube type,
it will interchange. If it's the metal can
type, I'm not sure.

------------------
the Early bird get's the worm...So, he don't have to stop for bait.
