Hello Everyone! I recently was given a 76 wellcraft v20 with a 79 merc 150. I just finished a complete overhaul on this thing but noticed my voltage was low while engine was running and tach doesn't move. It has brand new gauges and i am getting low voltage at the tach so it's not the gauges.. i am thinking rectifier??? It does look like some corrosion in the wires at the base of the rect. If it is the rect, will a rect off of a 175 of the same year work on the 150? I have a spare 175 for parts. I've been told they are pretty much the same motor. Any help would be great!
