Hi guys, do you use an automotive type,inline fuel filter on a portable tank style motor? Also , which carb supplies the port side cylinders,top or bottom? Thanks in advance!
The only filter that the factory put on the engine when new, was a screen on the side of the fuel pump. Most folks add a white/clear fuel filter to the fuel line hose by cutting the hose and clamping one in place. It's a simple addition and works well. Your engine has two two barrel carbs. The top carb feeds the top two cyls, the bottom feeds the other two cyls.
