Im getting what i think is fuel mixture out of what looks like a small square weep hole in the front where the mid and lower meet. Is this an exhaust seal problem or is this ok. I quess it could be gear oil it is pretty dark, but doesnt seem thick enough. This motor has not been on the water in 2 yrs and has only been run on muffs recently, seems to run ok.
Any advice on how to tell whats wrong or what I should do next?

thanks
Sean

I think you are talking about the drain for the exhaust housing. If you have been running it on a hose, you are probably seeing unburn't fuel mixture draining out of the exhaust housing, a normal condition.

Check your lower unit oil for any water and if it's okay take the mtr to the water, run the heck out of it and then check it.
