79 johnson 115 wont start

It ran great all day sunday, got back to the dock to load it and it died, will not start, it has fire and gas, any ideals.

If the engine has spark (ignition), compression, and fuel being delivered to the cylinders, it has to run.

The exception, causing the engine not to run could be:

You've had the flywheel off and didn't torque the flywheel nut to 105 foot pounds.That would cause the flywheel key to shear, effectively throwing the engine out of time.

Or, you may have purchased some water with that gasoline. Check the fuel line and carburetors for water.

Let us know what you find.

Thanks for the help Jo. I got it to run tonight it was the ground where it's bolts to the motor. It was loose, I had spark but it must of not be hot enough
