The cable assembly between my remote and engine has a bad wire in it. The wire that causes the temp. warning horn to sound is open. I can wiggle the cable right in front of the engine and get it to work so I know where it is broken. I have extra cable available, coiled up in the rear of the boat. Does anyone know where I can get the red connector that is on the end of this cable. I want to cut is off, pull some of the extra cable into the engine, cut off the bad area and put a new connector on. I have only found diagrams showing whole cable assembly and that is no long available.

no longer available. just splice into the wire on both sides of the big red plug, and use a bullet connector, for that one wire.

That will work.

If you really need that plug, PM (private message) me your email address. I may have some old harnesses around I can cut one off of.

You are better off splicing one bad wire, than installing a whole new red plug connector and wind up with a whole bunch of electrical splices.
