78 Chrysler 115 trim/tilt quit

I have a 1978 Chrysler 115hp. The trim/tilt stopped working and i dont think i can manually raise the engine (??) and i need to get it out of the lake. Is there a "quick" fix for the tilt/trim, or something i could check??

Try switching-out the two relays. If the harness allows enough play, you can unplug them, and switch the plugs around to see if the "UP" solenoid has failed.<br />But suspect a bad solenoid, or grounding problem at the solenoid first.
