Hi guys/gals. Have a no spark situation, and I'm not quite sure how to test/check trigger plate/switch. I've checked the resistance of all 4 wires and no breaks anywhere, When I turn the motor over, I get no juice from any of the 4 wires off the trigger to the switch box either. But I'm NOT sure if I'm supposed to have while the motor is cranking. Just replaced the stator, and everything tests fine for it, but I've got no juice going to the green wires on my switch box (recently replaced) so my coils are not getting anything. Can someone tell me if I'm supposed to get juice to any wires from the trigger while cranking?

I disconnected the orange wire at the switch box, and tried restarting both with the key switch and remotely, still no spark. Should I be testing for any juice/power at the trigger with this orange wire off as well?

Went ahead a re-tested the trigger wires and spark with orange wire off the switch box, and still NADA. If I used a Test Light probe, should I get any flashing on any/all 4 Trigger wires, while the engine is turning over, like I would with the stator wires? I would think so, but not sure. I tried, and got NADA on those 4 wires as well.

Awesome, thanks. I'll test them. Guess a Test Light won't work to see if I'm getting power through the trigger wires?

The "events" happen faster than a test light can register; it's also important that the motor is turning over quickly say 400rpm to generate enough power to fire ignition.

Probably a stupid question, but just to make sure, should I have the setting at 20k on the Ohm setting for this test? Also, I'm checking all 4 wires against each other correct ( Violet to all other 3, White to all other 3, Brown to all other 3 and the White/Black to all other 3)? Just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly
