76 Chrysler wiring harness to block question

I removed the outboard last year to rebuild my transome. On the wiring Bock on the side of the engine, all wire colors are marked except where the red wire goes. I don't remember where it came from. Any body know? Thanx.

I don't have a schematic for that engine but I will hazard a guess. If you don't have a corresponding red wire on the terminal board, then it should go to a circuit breaker if you have one or to the positive side of the rectifier.

That's my best guess.

There should be a terminal marked battery + on the terminal block. As John mentioned that should go to the Circuit breaker rear terminal.
