75 Johnson Stinger not throtling up

I need help with my stinger. it idles up when it is in nuetral but whe I put it in gear it will act like it is going to run well until i hit 3000 rpm's then boggs down. Any ideas, K

check your compression, spark, if ok, most likely dirty high speed jets, and link n sinc.

Thanks I'll be checking, just didn't know where to start. I do have good spark tat i did check.
