I have never heard of dub romer before. Buy as big a Marine Deep cell as you can get. I believe they are around 575 CCA. A 70 with good compression will need some extra power to get it to spin

Welcome to iboats, Kenneth. Your motor requires about 450CCA at the starter. Add the cable length, and adjust that accordingly. If your battery is located close to the motor (starter), you will require much less Cold-Crnaking Amperage than you would if it was located forawrd by the anchor locker, (as my B'liner Capri was)...Who would place a battery that far away from the demand? Boat builders, that's who...Go figure.
But in your case, aft by the motor someplace, go with 600CCA or higher.
Forward, go with a 700CCA or higher marine battery. Consider getting one of those new-fangled "Optima" jell-cell batteries. They look like a bloated six-pack and cost about three times that of a conventional battery, but they last 5times longer in a marine environment, esspecially on a weekender, as opposed to a werk-boat (that sees daily use).
The jell-cells are much less suceptable to heat/vibration and galvanic draw-down, that are found in most marine applications, than the conventionals are..But then, there is the price thing too.
There is a sales video floating around the shows Them taking a rifle and shooting them, and they still start the boat!
John Greviskis, on "Shipshape Boating", had a battery guy drill a hole thru one, and it made no difference! And no leakage of the electrolite onto the deck!

Amazing, yet expensive technology.
