Carbs cleaned, new fuel pump diaphram. When I try to start if I hold my hand over carb opening for a split second while spinning it will start to sputter and start with the throttle in high idle when I drop it down to slow idle it will die. It doesn't seem like its getting fuel. Any ideas out there?:confused:

Do a compression/spark test.If they are ok drop the float bowl and check for crud. That's assuming that the gas lines/squeezie ball and all connections are tight.Sucking air in the system will do that too.J

It has 3 carbs. when I do get it started if I put the throttle in the slow idle position. it will die. all fuel lines are good. Still hard to get started. Must crank and crank and push down on throttle, then it will start and run, but as soon as you pull throttle back to reg idle position it will die.:mad:
