So here i am tearing up my deck and expecting to find all the foam immediatly under the deck. But to my surprise, no i think the foam has been fiber glassed into the hull. I see a couple of spots where large maybe patches are so that when the foam expand there was room for it to escape. Does this sound right? and if so this is a horrible design because now if you get a hole in the hull, such as i have, there is water leaking into the foam. Or maybe I am totally nuts and there is no foam in the boat what-so-ever? Any thoughts? If i can figure out how to i will try and get pics up in a later post. Thanks

Re: 72 Regal Trihull

foam hardens, and gets a skin on it. it can be tough to get out.
