72' 125hp no power to coil

hello,

i have a 1972 125hp johnson. the starter works and the motor cranks. im getting no fire to the plugs. i had coil check and it is ok. However, im not getting any fire to the coil. please help. please help. im lost and not real good with motors.

i figured it out with luck,

i would like to start a forum just for johnson 125hp 1972 and 1971. they only made that design for 2 years we could all help each other..

Hi i have a 72 evinrude 85 with same issue no spark to plugs did both amp tests in the manual and tried to do coil test but wasnt a hundred percent sure if i did it correctly or not would be curious what you found wrong on yours tks shwnar
