71 Evinrude 60hp Triumph steering conversion

I have a 1971 60 hp Triumph that was used on a runabout with cable and pulley steering. I want to put it on my pontoon boat which had a 65 hp Suzuki with the push-pull steering. Is this possible to do? what parts might I need? Don't want spend a lot of money! Please help--thanks

i have done a conversion on my 1970 60hp steering from cable & pulley to push & pull like what you want to do , it works perfectly , just find a later 1970ties model transom i fitted a 1977 transom on mine .
