Some of what you are saying doesn't make much sense, and it kind of sounds like you are trying to supply information to get the answers you want to hear.<br />Now just exactly how hard did you hit the lower unit on the ramp? It would take quite a jolt to damage the drive shaft, and if it hit that hard, there is likely lower unit housing damage somewhere of some sort.<br />If I were you, I think I would take it in to a qualified shop, and pay to get a diagnosis and an estimate of repairs.<br /><br />Good Luck!<br /><br />John
