70hp evinrude no spark issues

I have a 1990 70hp outboard an i don't get any spark in the middle cylinder, the top and bottom cylinders do get spark. Is this a coil problem, if not anyone got any experience with this?

does anyone know of a good as in: Reliable, reasonably priced,and knowlegable boat repair shop in near phx. az.

get a manual and a good meter and test

Swap the coils and see if the problem goes with it...

thanks guys, i swapped the wire going into the coil and it got spark so apparently the coil is good. what should i test now to see why i am not getting spark to the wire that goes into the coil.
