Nice lookn fin TF. Looks to be a Blue Cat and i have seen some in the 125lb class plus. I may be mistaken but at one time they had a catch and release because of being overfished.

I have fished for the blues a little East of you around Galloplis. The river has a nice assortment of fins to. Again nice pull and am glad to see her let go to give another person a chance at a heart pumper.

We have a huge problem with flathead cats in GA, people released them into river systems where they didn't belong and they have virtually wiped out the native species. DO NOT release flatheads of anysize in GA.

find me a river in the winder - athens area with some decent flatheads and i will go get em. i almost gave up on river fishin for them around here.

Don't know where to catch any really big cats around Winder, you could go south to the Altamaha or Ocmulgee for flatheads or up to Nickajack for blues and flatheads, 70#'s+ in either case and 100#'s plus are in there.

Seems a little late but they were probably spawning on the rocky bank you were fishing Mike. They will hit a crawdad color crankbait like no tomorrow.
