Hi dan. welcome to iboats. sounds like you might need to do a carb clean/rebuild. It's a pretty easy job and you can get the kit right here at iboats and/or order it from a local NAPA parts store. If they don't have it in stock they can have it (or virtually any other Sierra brand replacement part) delivered by the next day for free. The kits are only about $20. If you have an old cork float you'll want to replace it with a modern plastic one, which you can also get right here at iboats for about $10. Here are some handy links that can walk you through an all around tune up, including a carb rebuild. I just brought a '66 20 hp back to life, so holler if you get stuck. Good luck. Keep us posted.

i ordered the float part #382363 and its the wrong one to big. i need part #375919 do they make that one in plastic?
