It really isn't a big deal, Skruff. We want outboard problems located by Brand, regardless of who made them or rebadged them. There have been at least 5 makers of Sea King outboards. If a newbie finds threads about Sea King in the Chrysler, OMC or Merc fora and doesn't know who made his Sea King he doesn't know where to post and is likely to annoy someone and get little help.
The experts on those other brands will visit the Other Outboards Forum and Mr. Newbie will get help without embarrassment.
