64 8hp Seaking "questions"

We were told that our 64 seaking 8hp can use chrysler parts, is this true?

The vin number is: VWB19076

Are main reason for this post is the fact that are shaft on the motor is getting very warm but is still spitting water, but not sure if is a good enough stream, so we were thinking about changing the impeller. We are also having trouble finding out information about our outboard on the internet and locally. If you have any knowledge on this year and brand of seaking your post will be apperciated.

Keep in mind me and my son are somewhat new at iboats and having older outboards.

The impeller should be changed every year or at least 2 years.
