62 Wards seaking 5HP impeller removal

Hi! All,
Need to replace the water pump impeller. Does this motor have to have the power head removed? Thanks in advance. All replies would be greatly appreciated. John Hendrickson There is no window on the leg. Model# GG18736

Yes power head needs to bre removed to unhook shift.
To my knowledge the 55 5hp was the only one with a window.
