This is my "new" project. 15' AWL 16' overall. Don't look like much now, but she is solid. Isham boatworks out of Portland OR

Re: '62 Isham Dual cockpit runabout

The lower portion of the hull has been glassed and all the wood is solid. There was a steel keel protector strip running the full length but its rotten as well as any of the outer hull metal works. It had good paint originaly, but was painted over with latex and the varnish is all nearly gone. The hull is marine ply with oak ribbing and stringers. The decking is teak.
I plan on redoing the decking with cedar tounge and groove planking inside and out. I will install helm controls and am looking for an appropriate outboard to go with the style. The transom don't need it, but I'm going to lam a skin of something pretty inside and out to match the natural stain and varnish of the eventual final finish. I also plan on fabricating a nice windshield (wood) and maybe some fancy trim. She weighs about 100lbs or so now (maybe closer to 200, I'm in pretty good shape).

Stripped and cleaned up what needed to be for new decking and paint this weekend. Wasn't in bad shape really. Need to strip off the rusted keel protector and prep for botom paint. May still do the transom for peace of mind though it looks fine.
