60 hp Bigfoot what is the white tube that come out above the spark plugs?

The 97 Bigfoot I just bought has a little nipple that comes out above the spark plugs with a hollow white tube is this some type of water pressure release that can be hooked up to a gauge? If it is and I don't want the gauge can I just plug the hole with a plug?

I have a 60HP non bigfoot and I'm almost positive that you are talking about a water pressure gauge hook up. So yes you should plug it, or water will come shooting out of it.
