hello i'm new here, i have a few questions. my name is howard, hello all. i have a 60 hp mercury bigfoot 2 stroke with what seems to be a 14X11P prop on a 1995 20' sweetwater pontoon boat. the questions are, the engine does not seem to go over 3800 - 4000 rpm at WOT and when i get it to 1500 - 1800 rpm it stumbles and backfires till i get it over that and it runs rough at an idle some, and if i try to open it up to quickly it bogs and has stalled. #2 carb was leaking fuel from the from the bras tube in there i adjusted the float and it stopped and now #3 leakes from the same place after running for awhile. do i have the right prop for this boat? is there something wrong with my engine and what what i need to try to do to get it running smooth like it should? what would be the float height adjustment be and where would i measure it from? any other info you are wiliing to part with would be great. thanks
