No and no.--Carburetors are not touched in working on the exhaust covers.----The exhaust covers are found on the side of the motor !!

This motor does not have removeable exhaust or intake covers. You will need to pull powerhead and split crankcase to check...

I will try what you said today Gerry..I did take the spark plugs off the other day and all 3 pistons are moving, but I will try to push on them while holding the flywheel....I noticed that when it does lock up and with the spark plugs out I put my ear upto the sparkplug hole and I hear a noise after it locks up coming from the top cylinder/top spark plug hole
it is louder at the top then in the middle or bottom spark plug hole.....same thing if I turn the flywheel in the opposite direction
Any Ideas...

Thanks Faztbullet.......I was not quite sure what the other guy was talking about.....It sounds like the noise is coming from the top cylinder/spark plug hole...I put my ear up to the hole when turning the flywheel until it cant go no further and the noise is much louder coming from the top spark plug hole if that means anything...

UPDATE.....got the motor all apart and the problem is the top Cylinder sleeve is push back towards the back of motor....when I turn the flywheel the connecting rod end where the bearings are, hits the sleeve when piston moves towards the front of motor.......the sleeve is out about 1/4 of an inch....can the sleeve be pounded back into position........what are my options...
