Just replaced prop shaft seal, drive shaft seal, shift rod O ring, .... these with parts from "rebuild kit" for my motor. Have a couple things left over and didn't take anything like them out like these that I know of. Any idea if they don't apply or I missed opportunity to replace or add them?

The 2 white nylons washers are for the drain plugs.-----The little o-ring is used on some shifter pivot pins.-----The other washer is sometimes used on the shift rod bushing, depending on the type you have in there now.

You should have used the grey fibre style washer when you changed your shift rod o ring. Your bushing was stepped was it not? It drops in first, before the bushing does. Perhaps your old one did not come out.

I think the old one is still in there. This now makes sense. The bushing was stepped. Guess I will pull bushing and go again w new washer. Shift rod had a good seal but makes more sense to me to replace the washer before final reassembly.
