59 Evinrude 5.5 carb settings

I picked up a 59 Evinrude 5.5hp outboard last year. I changed the lower unit oil and the water pump impeller. Now I am having trouble getting it to run smooth. Does anyone know the baseline carb settings? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to start the cosmetic restoration but not until I get it running right.

High speed: 3/4 turn out from gently seated. Low speed: 1 1/4 turns.

Then fine tune on the water. There is a link in the FAQS that will help with this.

Did you clean/rebuild the carb?

I didn't. It ran fine until I buggered up all of the settings.
