I have a 55HP Johnson that sat for more than 4 years. After some slow and careful work by my father in law the motor starts perfectly has good power and in general runs pretty good. That is with this exception, at speed there is an occasional skip like a plug is missing. It might go without any problem then an occasional skip and go again. Doesn't really seem to affect the power or anything else, mostly just annoying and I am betting it isn't likely to get better. new plugs gapped properly, and I have been told that it could be the "power packs" for cylinder 2 and 3. Any insights on how to replace these?
