Hello all,

Last year we had a water pump impeller self destruct and we might have overheated our engine a little (safety cut off worked). Now with a new pump and a added pee hole we still had issues with overheating and intermittent water flow through the pee hole (removing the thermostat housing would revealed loads of water gushing out). After further investigation, we found the engine to have a bad head gasket with some water in cylinders and low compression on one cylinder (115 psi,105 psi, 115 psi). I find it impressive that the engine still ran OK.

With a new head gasket in hand, would anyone know what the torque setting and pattern is for that engine?Messenger_creation_c9338afe-14f8-43c0-a442-f3c2c1a5de03.jpeg

If water got onto crankshaft bearings there could be major rust / corrosion issues inside the motor.----Head bolt torque is likely 40 INCH LBS.
