Hi. Noob here. I am doing a revival of a 7518. My parts manual says that the starter rope is part #44A19. That does not compute. Does anyone know the proper diameter, so I can get it replaced. Thanks!

On those old numbers, drop the letter, and pad the numbers with zeros. In other words, 004419. Doesn't matter though it has been obsolete for so long that the number has been dropped from the system. Use 7/32" nylon rope.

the original rope had a copper wire center
