I'm serious about the prize to the person who guesses the date and time that is closest to when we will actually hit 100,000 members in our Forums. So we'll keep track of your name and your estimated day and time.<br /><br />To make this more fun, let's get specific on the prize. I'll commit that the eventual winner, when we hit the 100,000 members number, can chose one or more items that we sell in our online Marine MegaMall...currently 102,000 marine accessories, parts and nautical gifts of all kinds (that's 374,000 SKUs at last count)...with a total retail value of the first place prize of $500.00 (US
). So...first place is worth $500.00.<br /><br />And let's also have a runner-up second place winner with the prize value (at retail) of $250.00 worth of iboats-offered item(s).<br /><br />And let's also have a third place winner with a prize worth $100.00 (at retail) worth of item(s) he/she wants that are found on iboats.<br /><br />To keep this really fair, let's also say that there can only be just one entry per person...and once you have entered your date and time you can't then change it later on. Lastly, let's say that this contest will only run through the end of this year...2004...to keep it fair, since as we get closer to the 100,000 date it would get easier to guess when the date will happen. So...this contest ends at midnight on December 31, 2004 and we will then watch and see who the three winners are! To win you must tell all of us your estimated date and time of day on this post....no emails please! <br /><br />Now...how's that for some fun?!
