5 Positon Motorguide Trolling Motor switch

Does anyone know how Motorguides 5 speed switch is wired internally? What contacts make and break to get the five speeds. I know there are two resistors in the motor housing but I can only figure out how to electrically make 4 speeds work.

just a guess

fast 5. no resistors
4. both reistors in parallel
3. one resistor (smallest of the 2)
2. one reisistor (larger of the 2)
slow 1. both resistors in series

That was my first guess but for that you would need 4 wires coming up to the 5 speed switch. There are only 2 a blue and a yellow. Thanks anyway.
